Project Description:

The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) in coordination with the Town of Holly Hill proposes pedestrian improvements along US 176 (Old State Rd.) from SC 453 (Gardner Blvd.) to S-38-119 (Railroad Ave.). Funding for this project is provided through the Transportation Alternatives Program.

Proposed Improvements:

The proposed project will revamp the exisiting sidewalks, crosswalks and rehabilitate the entire roadway surface. The project will also include new landscaping, lighting and furnishings within the project corridor.

Purpose and Need:

The purpose of pedestrian improvements along US 176 (Old State Rd.) is to provide a safe route for Holly Hill citizens to connect with each other as well as to goods and services.
