Project Location:

The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) proposes improvements along the Isle of Palms Connector (SC-517) from Sweetgrass Basket Parkway (S-10-2566) to Rifle Range Road (S-10-51) in Charleston County.

Proposed Improvements:

The proposed improvements include installation of a 10' Shared Use Path along the north side of the Isle of Palms Connector from Sweetgrass Basket Parkway to Rifle Range Road.

Purpose and Need:

The purpose of this project is to connect the two major corridors of the Mount Pleasant Way spine route to help expand access to schools, recreation facilities, and commercial destinations.
