The South Carolina Department ofTransportation (SCDOT) proposes sidewalk improvements within the Town of Jonesville in Union County, SC, including the design and construction of 5' ADA compliant sidewalks, stamped crosswalks, resurfacing, lighting, and landscaping in the downtown area.

The proposed sidewalk improvements will include the construction of 5' sidewalks located:

• along both sides of N Main St from Church St to Depot St;
• along both sides of Depot St from Forest St to Pacolet St;
• on the southern side of the Pacolet St intersection with S Main St;
• on the western side of Pacolet St at the intersection with Church St.

The purpose of the proposed project is to improve pedestrian safety and accessibility throughout the downtown corridor.
