The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) in partnership with the Appalachian Council of Governments (ACOG) proposes to improve the intersection of SC 150 (Boiling Springs Highway) at Grassy Pond Road, Old Post Road, and Ellis Ferry Road.

Proposed improvements include roadway widening, construction of new pavement, modifications to intersection geometry, and associated right-of-way acquisition where necessary. The project will also remove and replace pavement in select areas to improve turning movements, increase storage capacity, and enhance overall traffic flow through the corridor.

The purpose and need of the project is to improve the operational efficiency at the intersection while also improving the safety of the intersection.
