The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) proposes to improve the intersection at US 321 and SC 34 in Fairfield County, SC.

The proposed improvements will include new medians that will work to improve the roadway design to meet current standards at the intersection.

The purpose and need of the project is to provide a safe, reliable, and structurally sound crossing that meets current design standards and accommodates traffic demands. The intersection improvement aims to improve public safety, and ensure long-term serviceability of the route.
