The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) proposes to replace the bridge on (S-40-1600) Lakeland Drive in Richland County.

The proposed project will replace the existing S-1600 (Lakeland Drive) bridge over Eightmile Branch.

The existing Lakeland Drive (S-40-1600) bridge over Eightmile Branch is currently closed and has components in poor condition. The purpose of the project is to replace the bridge to eliminate structural deficiencies and to restore the bridge components to good condition.
