Project Description:

South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) proposes improvements along US 17 between S-1015 (Crooked Oak Drive) and S-302 (Litchfield Drive) in Georgetown County, SC.


Proposed Improvements:

  • Installation of landscape / raised concrete medians which will require right turns from the below intersections along with numerous business driveways.
    1. S-302 (Litchfield Drive)
    2. S-535 (Country Club Drive)
    3. S-1015 (Crooked Oak Drive)
    4. S-757 (Channel Bluff Avenue)
  • Installation of traffic signal at the Crooked Oak Drive
  • Installation of sidewalk

Purpose and Need:

The purpose of this project is to improve safety and level of service along US 17 between S-1015 (Crooked Oak Drive) and S-302 (Litchfield Drive) in Georgetown County, South Carolina.
