The South Carolina Department of Transportation proposes to replace the bridge on US 378 (Sunset Boulevard) over Twelve Mile Creek in Lexington County.

SCDOT will work to replace the bridge while minimizing impacts to vehicle traffic on this busy highway. As construction progresses, SCDOT will issue press releases to notify the public about upcoming traffic impacts. Subscribe to SCDOT press releases for updates.

A public information meeting was held on Thursday, March 21, 2019, at River Bluff High School to provide information to the community about plans for the bridge replacement project.

This bridge replacement project is part of SCDOT’s overall efforts to replace bridges that are structurally deficient and/or functionally obsolete across South Carolina.
