Proposed Improvements
These repairs are part of SCDOT's Statewide Closed and Load Restricted Bridge Repair Program. Under this program the bridge will undergo structural repairs in an effort to remove current load restrictions and preserve and extend its service life.
Purpose and Need
The purpose of this project is to reduce the number of load restricted bridges by performing comprehensive and cost effective bridge repairs identified at SC 49/ SC 215 Connector over Norfolk Southern Railroad.
