S-2-105 (Old Vaucluse Rd) over I-20 Bridge Replacement
The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) proposes to install a replacement bridge on S-2-105 (Old Vaucluse Rd) over I-20 in Aiken County. The bridge was constructed in 1968 and suffered a total loss following a bridge strike and fire.

The purpose of the project is to maintain connectivity on S-2-105 (Old Vaucluse Rd) over I-20 and repair the damage caused by the bridge strike and fire. The road is currently closed and a detour is in place.
The new bridge will be an on-alignment configuration and will be constructed to comply with current design criteria. NEPA studies revealed no significant impacts or effects to resources within the project study area.
